Remedial massage is excellent for pains and aches, or if you have experienced an injury. Techniques include trigger point therapy, myofascial release, pin and stretching, strength testing techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. This therapeutic massage aims to promote healing whilst providing a personalised treatment for each individual. Lymphatic drainage is a very gentle and works with your immune system to speed up healing. If you have been feeling sluggish or suffer inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, or autoimmune disease such as lupus, and even chronic fatigue, then lymph drainage can help. Please note, the massage is the same for every individual, however the outcome is different. Discuss this with the therapist. Deep tissue massage is for those who often get deep tissue as it is quite firm and can cause pain for days if you are not used to it. Working within your pain threshold, firm techniques are used to reduce joint stiffness and muscle tension. Sports massage is great for those who exercise a lot but it is not firm since that can cause pain to tired and inflamed muscles. This treatment consists of medium pressure, stretch techniques, and flushing on all soft tissue. Relaxation is aimed to reduce stress and anxiety from life's pressures by calming the mind and body. This treatment is between soft and medium pressure and is quite slow to calm the nerves, body and mind. Excellent option if you are stressed or overwhelmed. Pregnancy massage is excellent for expecting mothers to relax and get relief from the pressures of pregnancy. It is performed side-lying and full body is recommended including the feet. Please note public holidays incur a 10% surcharge. Please allow 24 hours notice for canceling, out of consideration for the therapist and clients. A $50 fee will apply within this time for cancellations or no-shows.
